app

Trestle: Ledger

Ledger is an app that empowers frontline staff providing vital support services to communities in New York City. It does this by dramatically reducing the time, effort and complexity of collecting and managing the personal information of the beneficiaries, streamlining event scheduling and providing reports to relevant parties for funding purposes.

The iPad app is built to enable collaborative workflows through realtime synchronisation across devices, whilst also being capable of working offline or when connectivity is limited during field work. The backend uses browser automations to integrate with existing legacy systems, together they're able to consolidate multiple methods for collection and reporting of data and deliver an experience that empowers users, freeing them up to better engage with people face to face.

Initially brought into the team as a frontend developer, the role expanded into working as the conduit between the designer and the CTO. Eventually I was tasked with leading the development of the MVP which included authoring a highly flexible configuration system with the ability to adapt to various organisational structures and provide the framework for both client facing and back office interfaces.
